XTTK Kinyerezi II, Tanzania
The Kinyerezi power plant will be Tanzania's first natural gas-fired combined cycle power plant. Once completed the plant is estimated to provide approximately 20 percent of the country's total power generating capacity. The construction site is located approximately thirty kilometers southwest of Dar es Salaam, the former capital.
